1. What are the working hours for Laundry Lounge?
You can avail of the Dry Cleaning service along with other services at Laundry Lounge from Monday to Friday: 8 AM – 11 PM, and on Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays: 9 AM – 9 PM. Online bookings for pick-up and drop-off services are also available. Or, you can also drop by for Self Service Cleaning.
2. How long does it take you to turn around one batch of Dry Cleaning items?
At Laundry Lounge, the turnaround time for pick-up and drop-off service is 24 hours for a complete laundry service, depending on the weight of your laundry. However, we do offer same-day turnaround depending in the location and time of the day. For self-service, the turnaround time is 1 hour. For dry cleaning services, the turnaround time is 3-5 days.
3. What are the charges for Dry Cleaning at Laundry Lounge?
At Laundry Lounge, we do not have a minimum dry clean weight. We offer per-item pricing as well as per-weight pricing. Ironing and dry cleaning is charged per item but for wash and fold, we charge per Kg. For more details, please visit our pricing and services pages.You can check our pricing policy here. If you have any special requests, feel free to convey them to our staff while booking our services, and there may be an additional charge based on your requirements.
4. What to choose- Dry Clean or Wash Only?
While we do offer wash-only services, we would recommend dry cleaning for the following reasons:
- We use gentle chemical solvents instead of water to clean clothes for dry cleaning, which is more suited for special items like your coats and dresses.
- We gently treat your delicate fabrics ensuring 0% shrinkage, color fading, or other damage.
Dry cleaning is also much more effective at removing food, wine, blood, or oil-based stains.
5. Can Laundry Lounge remove stains through dry cleaning?
Yes, Laundry Lounge can remove most of your fabric stains, even lightening the unpleasant, heavily ingrained, long-lasting ones. We carefully assess and use in-house techniques for each stain removal. However, we cannot guarantee 100% removal of all stains. We request all customers to keep us informed of already existing stains on their garments to be able to better care for them.
6. Does Dry Cleaning include Pressing or is it chargeable?
At Laundry Lounge, our dry cleaning services include cleaning, stain removal, drying, and pressing before returning the items to the customers. We return your dry-cleaned clothes on hangers or neatly folded based on the item. We use protective plastic to ensure dust and wrinkle-free deliveries.
7. Do you do special occasion wear like with wedding the dresses proper or way formal of gowns?
Yes, and Laundry Lounge takes care of your intricate clothes for all your special events. We know how much these items are important to you and that is why we ensure they are handled with the utmost care. It would help if you let us know if the garment is very sensitive or has some special care requirements beforehand.
8. Does dry cleaning give the clothes a chemical-like smell?
Laundry Lounge uses top-notch dry-cleaning equipment and gentle irritant-free chemicals that do not leave any residual odor. Next, we naturally air dry them before ironing them and then return them to customers for use.
9. First Order? Worry Not.
If this is your first time, here’s what you need to do- Once you’ve booked our services, collect your clothes in a heap and our delivery associate will collect them from you at your desired location in a bag provided by us. After just a few hours, we will deliver your dry-cleaned clothes to your doorstep- Smart and Clean!
