Laundry Lounge Terms and Conditions Regarding Your Orders
Garment Care
Our in-house professionals handle all your garments with care and caution. We review the care labels on your clothes to follow any instructions written so that your clothing item is cleaned properly without any damage.
- In case of a missing label, our in-house team will carefully inspect the fabric and choose the appropriate cleaning method.
- If you select a cleaning method that is not the method specified on the garment’s care label, or our recommended method for when the label is missing, we will contact you to explain any risks associated with that method. We cannot proceed with your requested method until you have acknowledged and accepted these risks. If we are unable to reach you, we may return the garment to you uncleaned. By accepting a cleaning method in contradiction to the care label or our recommendation, you accept complete liability for any damage that might be caused to the garment.
- While we take every effort to remove all stains, it is not possible to guarantee complete stain removal. We will do the best for the effective treatment of all stains.
Item Verification
The first count of items received takes place at our facility with due care by our in-house team. In the case of a discrepancy between the amount included on your website order or Order Confirmation and the actual number of delivered items received by us, we will immediately call you for a reconfirmation. Once we receive your confirmation expressed, we will update the information in our system regarding your order details.
Garment Care and Responsibility
Laundry Lounge tries hard to provide you with the best possible laundry care. Even though we take all possible precautions, minor changes like a colour change or shrinkage may happen sometimes. Therefore, we are not liable for any discoloration or shrinkage that is beyond our control and happens despite due precaution. We are also not responsible for ordinary clothes or any valuable items that have been left inside the pockets.
Please check your laundry at the time of delivery for your satisfaction. We will not be responsible for any missing or damaged items after the delivery is complete.
Damaged Items
If your item is damaged due to something Laundry Lounge did (and not damage that was pre-existing), Laundry Lounge is liable to do the following:
Pay you ten times the cleaning cost for that item, or
Pay what the item was worth at the time (while considering its age, state, wear and tear, etc)
– whichever is higher.
Note: Only when you report such damage to your clothing item within 24 hours of receiving your cleaned garments will you be eligible for any compensation under the policies of Laundry Lounge. Please reach out to us at [email protected] or drop by your storefront at Cluster Q JLT, to report such damage.
We will then investigate the issue and work to resolve it as quickly as possible.
Lost Item?
Please report any items missing within 24 hours of your scheduled delivery date. We will consider an item as lost 48 hours from the time you initially report such loss to us. If we acknowledge an item as lost, our compensation shall be limited to ten times the cleaning price that we have charged for such item at the time of order placing through the website of Laundry Lounge.
Pre-Cleaning Inspection
To prevent misunderstandings, we may need to inspect items before cleaning. If there has been prior damage, we will notify you within 24 hours prior to beginning the cleaning so that it’s clear we didn’t cause it.
Note: Laundry Lounge reserves the right to terminate its services in case of violation of these terms and conditions.
