Suitability and Risks Regarding Laundry
Laundry Lounge gives priority to customer satisfaction and that is why we have laid down some open dialogue about the rules we follow to negate all misunderstandings about Laundry Lounge Services, our website and your obligations to us as our customer. Once you have gone through these terms and continued using our services, it will mean that you fully understand and accept these terms, legally.
Your Clothing or Other Items Should Be Suitable for Laundry
When you opt to use our services, you hereby agree that the clothes or items that you submit to us are suitable for the following:
To be washed with detergent and water
Using normal cycle in the washing machine
To be dried in a tumble dryer with the use of heat in a tumble dryer

Please note that Laundry Lounge is not to be responsible for damage of any type to the clothing item which is not suitable for these processes listed above in points a, b and c.
For this reason, the staff at Laundry Lounge reserves a refusal right to clean or service any item that could be hazardous to the person cleaning or to other staff. For example, if a piece of clothing is covered or soiled heavily in animal waste or human waste. We must stick to these guidelines to ensure the safety and hygiene of the other customers and our staff.
Damaged Laundry
The trained and skilled staff at Laundry Lounge will take all steps to prevent all forms of damage to your laundry. However, limitations do exist on that. For example, among the hundreds of clothing items that each staff deals with, it is impossible to check the pockets of each of them and find out if anything is perhaps left in them. So, we cannot bear responsibility for damage caused to your laundry by items like chewing gum, toffees, pens, or lipstick. Thus, if you don’t let us know you have left a ring or a bracelet in one of your pockets, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to find it and return it to you.
Laundry Process Causes Wear and Tear
All processes that are involved in the process of laundering are gentle and we exercise caution where necessary. However, minimal wear and tear on the clothing item during washing, dry cleaning, laundry, or ironing is unavoidable. Thus, Laundry Lounge does not bear the responsibility for such wear and tear of your laundry items.
Following may happen:
You may lose buttons from your clothing items
The colour of your clothing item may fade
You may notice fatiguing, abrasions or holes in the fabric
Due to these reasons, Laundry Lounge reserves rights to refuse cleaning a particular item in case we deem it necessary to preserve the clothing (when laundry service could cause more harm due to the state of the clothing).
Other Risks of Laundry?
When we clean or dry a piece of clothing, we don’t usually examine each part of it with extreme care. So, if some garment is meant only to be dry cleaned (tagged “dry clean only”), it is better that you inform our staff about it beforehand. Moreover, if such clothing item is not suitable to be cleaned with general washing and drying methods, we request you to not include it in the laundry load that you submit to us.
All the clothing items in your laundry load will be washed together. However, if you wish to divide the clothes into separate heaps before our representative picks it up, we will wash your laundry accordingly in two loads, separately. This is a common practice for when you want to separate the white-colored clothing or light-colored clothing from the rest of the colored clothes.

We charge a minimal fee of 79 AED for Separate Loads.
Our staff does not separate clothes based on color, fabric or other parameters (with instructions or without. We request that you do that for each load when there is a requirement on your part. Laundry Lounge does not take responsibility for instances where color bleeds from one clothing item in your laundry to another one.
Laundry Lounge also does not take responsibility for paying damages for any shrinking or stretching caused to your clothing item after it has undergone the laundry process.
We do not carry out separation on our pre-paid laundry plans, currently.
Laundry Item Lost?
If storage space and cost were no big deal, we would inventory your laundry items with us for you to be able to come and pick it up when possible. Unfortunately, to do so, it is quite cost and space intensive.
Thus, Laundry Lounge cannot take responsibility for any lost laundry item. Amidst the multiple items that we deal with on a daily basis, it is impossible to keep track of a single one that you describe to us after the due time for reporting the lost item has passed.
However, please note that we carefully keep track of all your clothing items until we have delivered the fresh and clean laundry to you. Your clothes are tagged with your name and a unique ID code. Any items or items are not let loose unless our staff carefully places them inside a washing machine, on the ironing table, or on the folding cart from which each item is carefully folded and packed, ready to be delivered to you.
In case you notice a missing item, please convey your concerns to us withing 24 hours of receiving the clean laundry from our representative.
